Trust.

Isn't it amazing how children naturally trust. Trust us to feed them. Trust us to keep them warm and safe.

They cry and trust that we will pick them up and love them.

Why can we, as adults, but children of God not trust Him like that?

He promises us comfort, love, and provision.

And yet, we still doubt.

Just like at times, we have to let our children get hurt, and they cry and don't understand why that happened. At times, we don't understand why God let's some things happen. But that doesn't lessen His love for us. His is teaching us, growing us, and getting us ready to SORE!!

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Making.

Start with a bowl of snow.

Making Memories.

Add some milk, a large splash of vanilla,

and snow ice cream.

And a sprinkle of sugar. Then watch their eyes sparkle as they eat their ice cream!

Just one of the ways I am trying to be a more memorable mom.

Where is your heart?

It has been said time and time again that children learn through play. They also mimic what they see around them and what they perceive to be improtant. So the other day when I watched a church service, complete with the Lord's Supper unfold in our play room my heart was filled.

 I didn't find it disrespectful that they used water and cereal as the sacriments, and I didn't question that they allowed the baby to participate.

 I was just so pleased to see that church, the workings of the church, and worshiping their Savoir is an important part of my children's lives.

They view worship important enough to include it in their play. And I couldn't be happier!!

Shouldn't we all be more like this? Including worship in EVERY aspect of our lives and not just when we walk through the doors of church would do us all a bit of good I do imagine. We, as mommas need to take time to STOP, BREATHE, and WORSHIP!! Even if just for a second to utter a prayer, sing a verse to song, or to tell our Heavenly Father that we love Him. Let's include more worship in our days, and make our Father's heart full as mine was the other day.
